I got this idea from someplace, probably a hobby shop that sells kits like this. First you make a shallow box and then you fill it up with wine and champagne bottle corks cut to a height about 1/4″ above the box edge. The hard part is gathering up enough corks, though this depends on how often and fast you can drink. (more…)

This project was based on the Rocking Horse project plan available from Plans Now. It was great fun to make even though my son didn’t get the hang of it for quite some time. Once he did, though, he’s become quite the cowboy – he can rock backward, forward and sideways! (more…)
