Maple Trivets
I got this idea from a commercial round trivet we have. Basically it started out as a cheap exercise in making accurate straight cuts with a router.
The trivets were made from of leftover maple from the crib project. They were treated with clear Minwax Wood Finish and two coats of clear satin Minwax Polyurethane.
